I'm looking forwar to being a part of a great event and hopefully helping a little.

WHAT A WONDERFUL EVENING!
To be apart of such an event "The Oath of Office for the first Woman Attorney General for the State of Massachusetts" was so very special.
The Master of Ceremonies was former Attorney General Francis Belloti. Wonderful words were given for Martha by The Honorable Sal DiMasi, Speaker of the House. Robert Travaglini, Senate President. Thomas Menino, Mayor of Boston. And his Excellency Deval Patrick, Governor. Finishing with a warm heart felt speech from Martha. I closed the Ceremony by playing America the Beautiful! The sound was just bigger than life.
The Governor and Mr. Sal DiMasi were so kind to come to me and say some wonderful things about my performance. I promised I would send some CD's. I hope to have some pictures soon and will put them up on the Web. Deric....

Hi Everyone! I wanted to let everyone no how the start to Martha Coakley's campaign for Attorney General of Massachusetts went Tuesday evening at The Omni Parker House. Martha had so many people show up to support her the Fire Marshal shut down the elevators. At one point during our break for Martha's speech I had to go down stairs to rescue some of the band, We had to take the service elevator with security and speaker of the house Sal Dimas, Who gave a wonderful speech in support of Martha.
I want to say thanks to Martha for inviting me and the band to play at such an important event. Also Christine Ohlman and the guys, Cliff Goodwin, Marty Richards, Tom West, Thom Enright, Dean Cassell, Lennie Peterson, Scott Aruda, Andrew Hickman, Cliff Broverman and of coarse all of Martha's people especially Paul who made it so easy for us to do our job.
Cheers and good luck to Martha on the road she will travel to the Office of Attorney General. Deric Dyer....
